ABOUT VELOBAZAAR
A Lifetime in Cycling — Now in Reno
Hi, I’m Steve Clausse, founder of VeloBazaar.
Born in Belgium into a cycling family, bicycles have been part of my life since day one. My parents owned bicycle shops in Belgium and Southern France, my mother was a Belgian Track Championship silver medalist, and my father was an accomplished elite racer.
I started racing at age six and later spent eight years as a professional road racer, earning more than 100 victories across three continents.
After racing, cycling became my profession. With more than 25 years of bicycle-industry experience, I’ve worked in bicycle shops, sales management, service, distribution, import/export, and online sales.
From Pahrump to Reno
After many years in the Las Vegas area, my wife Michelle and I moved to Pahrump in 2022, where we opened Pahrump Cyclery.
After three great years serving that community, we closed the shop in 2026 and moved to Reno, Nevada, beginning the next chapter of VeloBazaar.
