About Us

Hello! I'm Steve Clausse, known as the "Belgian In Vegas". I was born in Belgium with mom and pop owning a Bicycle Shop in Belgium then in South of France. I was vaccinated with a bicycle spoke (saying in Europe).

Mom took silver in the Track Belgium Championship and Dad raced Elite taking over 100+ K.O.M and winning 84 Elite races in his career! 

I raced from 1981 from Cycling School at age 6 all the way to the late 90's as a Professional Road Cyclist with 100+ victories in 3 continents. Traveling worldwide made me learn English and Spanish and start working on import / export for Cycling products. I follow up working in Bicycle Shops for 25 years from a shop employee to Sales Manager.

Fast forward, life happen with 4 kids, marrying Michelle in 2014. Michelle was raised in Pahrump and that made us move over there one hour drive from Las Vegas in 2022.

And guess what, this town is growing fast and there is no one to help Cyclists fix their bikes or even buy some basic Cycling goodies! That's why we decided to create a new business who will progressively grow into different branch including bike shop services/sales/rentals and Gravel Bike Adventures. I have an eBay Store for 19 years now as well I will keep on running.

WHAT IS VELOBAZAAR? I have been looking for a unique business name with some European accent (just like me). And I always dig the crazy market in South of France where you can buy from Food, Arts and any goodies. 

VELO = BICYCLE (in French) and BAZAAR or BAZAR or BAZARD is a market in a Middle Eastern or Asian country. Bazaar is also synonym of Bizarre! In my mind, it's the sound of Used products at bargain price.
